Queen Anne’s Lace ($1 each)

Wed, May 4th, 2011 | 0

This beautiful European-native plant is biennial like Hollyhocks but this hybrid variety should bloom the first year. It grows 24” to 30” height and spreads by seed. The foliage has a lacy look and the flower head looks like a white lace collar, hence the Royal name. Queen Anne’s Lace tolerates poor soils and needs little care and that makes it a perfect addition to a low maintenance flower bed or back of the border plant. Available are first year plants.

$1.00 each.
